Flash is one of the most popular of web technologies. A building tool that supports animation, sound and a host of interactive features, it's seen employed to a greater or lesser extent on a huge number of sites. Flash technology is also widely employed to stream video and audio, as it offers a very fast and compact way to provide this feature to site visitors. Flash website software templates are ways that anyone, professional designer or not, can create these sites quickly and with consistent results.

The Template Concept

Most of the websites you've seen, even the ones that belong to very large companies, started off as templates. There are some features and design characteristics that are so universal that it makes no sense to code them over and over again for different sites. In some cases, the programming gets very complex and, in addition to hiring someone who can come up with the design, you'd need to find someone who could program all the various scripts that make the site functional. This can be very expensive, obviously, and can end up taking a lot of time. Using templates is one way that you can cut down on the amount of time involved and, thus, the expenses involved in building a great website.

Building a Flash site from scratch is usually not the most efficient way to go.
