What can a parent like you do for teenage acne that is organic or natural? Or, if you are a teenager with a big zit on your nose, and you believe that you have a real problem, so what can be done? There are some natural skin care regiments that are great for this problem. The best news is that there are ways to not only prevent common teenage skin problems, but also to treat them, and you can often times use organic or natural skin care products to do the job.

For most teenagers, skin problems begin with changes in their hormones. Pimples start when the pores in their skin become clogged with oil that is known as sebum, intended to lubricate hair and skin. During puberty your hormones go into overdrive, causing the sebum to go into overproduction. The T-zone - chin, nose and forehead - is the area where you are typically going to see pimples, or acne breakouts, the most common teenage ailment. This is because of the oil-producing glands located in this area.

Following are some tips to help prevent acne breakouts using natural skin care products, and clear them up quickly: Simply wash your face two times per day with warm water and a mild soap such as a goats milk soap. Never scrub, but gently massage your face very gently in circular motions. If you scrub too hard or overwash your face, the skin will become irritated. If you prefer to use a natural skin care regimen, here is what you can do. Never pop a pimple because this can push infected matter further into the skin which leads to even more redness, swelling and scarring.

Clean your sunglasses or glasses frequently to keep any oil from clogging the pores on the skin around your nose and eyes. Wash your hands before applying anything to your face including cleansers, creams, makeup or medicines. Women should remove all makeup before going to sleep at night. Do not ever touch your face with your hands or fingers. Be sure not to lean on objects with your face or chin because it will collect skin residue with bacteria. Touching your face to the phone might spread the bacteria, and then your pores will become inflamed. Be sure to use wipes on your phone to clean it often. Do not wear tight clothing over acne in places like your arms or back.

Remember skin must breathe, and also caps, headbands, and scarves collect dirt, so try to keep them clean. Keep your hair clean and out of your face in order to prevent dirt and oil from clogging your pores. Use fresh makeup and toss out old makeup especially if it smells or looks old or strange. Stay out of the sun as a tan may worsen acne plus it will damage to skin and lead to wrinkles. If you're concerned about acne, use natural skin care products and talk to a dermatologist. Who has the knowledge to help you find the treatment method that's best for your skin type.
