Over the last 20 years, a few plants that have been used in traditional Polynesian medicine have become quite popular in North America and Europe. One of these plats produced a supplement called Proxenol. It has been used by the Polynesians, in the treatment of illness, for almost every medical application. Research has shown that morinda citrifolia, the main ingredient in proxenol, contains up to 40 times more proxeronine than any other food. A series of clinical studies has demonstrated that proxeronine may help rejuvenate the cells, glands and organs in human beings. Further, it may not only slow down, but could actually reverse the aging process by as much as 15 to 20 years. The theory is that when released, proxeronine or xeronine, its derivative, actually works at the molecular level to repair damaged cells. The primary function of proxeronine is to regulate the shape of specific proteins affecting different functions within the cells. Each body tissue has cells that contain proteins that have receptor sites for the adsorption of xeronine. These protein receptors are responsible for the efficacy of a wide range of bioactive plant products. Is this supplement considered to be the "fountain of youth" found? Perhaps, but research into this supplement is still ongoing. The notion, however, that taking this supplement can expand one life span to 100 years; become free of disease and pain is astounding. In addition, claims have been made that xeronine and proxeronine are active ingredients; production of xeronine is promoted by noni juice; xeronine can regenerate cells, cause cellular repair or (anti-aging); immune system stimulant; prevents activation of Epstein-Barr virus; anti tumor/anticancer activity, specifically, breast cancer.

Morinda citrifolia has been used in folk remedies by Polynesians for over 2000 years, and is reported to have a wide range of therapeutic effects, including antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal, anti tumor, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and immune enhancing effects. They believe it to be a miracle healing substance. Protease, which is the second main ingredient in Proxenol, refers to a group of enzymes called proteolytic enzymes. Proteolytic enzymes are very important in digestion because they breakdown protein to free the amino acids needed by the body. Their use in medicine is gaining more and more attention as several clinical studies are indicating their beneficial affects in oncology, inflammatory conditions, and immune regulation.

The benefits of proxenol aid in correcting existing conditions and diseases including: poor eyesight, hearing loss, graying and balding hair, memory lapses and even a tendency towards obesity. While researchers are still examining the properties inherent in proxenol, it is believed to have anti-aging benefits. As such, it can make such an incredible change in one's overall health, energy level, and mental ability. The Polynesian people believe it works for them; perhaps they are really onto something. Go online and research this product to determine its efficacy.
