It is a common misconception to think that the hands of time can only be turned back by invasive surgeries (i.e. face lifts, laser resurfacing, neck lifts, etc.) However, not all these options are really for everyone.

Aside from the fact that many of these anti aging treatments can be quite costly, you also have to do a lot just more to maintain that look.

There are medicines to buy, frequent return trips to the doctor, creams and lotions to apply, etc. Besides, for people with pre-existing medical condition such as diabetes or hemophilia, such treatments may not be viable remedies at all.

So why not turning things round and start feeling beautiful from within - quite literally? Just incorporating a little more of naturally Vitamin C and Vitamin E foods in your everyday meals can help freeze (and even reverse) the onslaught of the aging process.

Here is a list of natural foods that can help you regain your youthful features and your vitality to boot.

1. Natural Vitamin C is always a great place to start. Taking natural foods loaded with this vitamin is better than taking supplements for one simple reason. There is no way you can overdose yourself with natural foods.

The primary role of this vitamin is to act as anti-oxidant because it tends to protect the body against the ravages of oxidative stress. In other words, it is oxidation that literally causes the body to weather with age.

With the proper amount of Vitamin C in the diet, cells are able to renew itself faster. Vitamin C is by far one of the best natural anti aging foods there is.

FYI: orange is not the only source of Vitamin C. You can also gain great amounts of this vitamin in broccoli, Brussels sprouts, black and red currant, cauliflower, fried chicken liver, fried cod roe, garlic, grapefruit, guava, kiwifruit, lemon, lime, melon, papaya, parsley, raw cabbage, raw oysters, red pepper, spinach, strawberry, tomato and even in fresh cow's milk.

2. Natural Vitamin E (again) is more favorable than taking Vitamin E supplements because there is less possibilities of overdosing oneself.

And again, this vitamin has great anti-oxidant properties that help in any anti aging treatments. Most people think that this vitamin helps in skin renewal only. That may be true, but the better term here is "cell renewal," since its antioxidant properties function in skins, muscles and bone tissues.

Natural sources of Vitamin E are: asparagus, olives, spinach, wheat germ and nuts (that includes almonds and Brazil nuts.) Taken in moderation, these will also provide viable sources of natural Vitamin E: avocado and oil taken from canola, cottonseed, corn, red palm, sunflower, and soybean.

Of course, increasing your natural Vitamin C and Vitamin E intake will benefit you more if you couple this with a healthy lifestyle. Smoking should be the first thing to fly out of the window. A few minutes of cardio workout would also be good. And most important of all, get the recommended 8 hours of fitful sleep each night.
