When you want to lose weight effectively, you need not just a vegetarian diet, but a weight loss plan as well. Let me show you what constitutes a vegetarian weight loss diet plan. By the way, I'm a healthy weight loss advocate. So, you can be sure that you're going to lose weight safely and healthily as a vegetarian, if you follow what I say below.

Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet Plan

Type of Vegetarian Diet - Contains 70 - 90% whole natural foods. Whole natural vegetarian foods like fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts and seeds etc carry natural phytonutrients and large amount of fiber your body needs for optimal functioning. Your body cells need adequate supply of these quality nutrients to keep unwanted fat at bay and help manage your weight.

Number of Meals in Your Vegetarian Diet - Preferably 5 meals a day. Split the weight loss meal plans in such a way - breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Each of your breakfast, lunch and dinner should keep you 70% full, while the snack should fill you up to 30 - 40% only.

Tips for Eating Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet - Studies have shown that our stomachs take about 10 - 20 minutes (at times, only 2 minutes) to register satiety with our brains. So, I advise that you take your time to savor every of your meals. For your main meals, take about 30 - 45 minutes to finish. For snack, take at least 15 minutes. Slowing down your eating speed will help prevent you from heaping on excess calories.

Hydration for Weight Loss - When you include lots of natural whole fiber in your vegetarian weight loss meal plan, make sure you drink sufficient quantity of water to hydrate your body properly. A well-hydrated body will help detox and flush out toxins and excess calories out of your body to achieve weight loss.

In fact, I can stop right here because that's all about an effective vegetarian weight loss diet plan. But to help you lose more weight in the shortest time possible, you need to factor in exercises.

I know that many people (including vegetarians and non-vegetarians) hate to move their body for weight loss. But an exercise plan is not just a way to keep you metabolically active all day long to burn more fat, but will also keep you physically fit so that you can stay young and prevent deterioration of your internal organs.

Recommended exercises for fat loss are high-intensity interval training. If you feel cardio works fine for you, go ahead with cardio. Cardio burns fat less efficiently. But to me, it's better than doing nothing.

This is how you should put vegetarian diet and weight loss plan together, to form an almighty vegetarian weight loss diet plan for effective, efficient and permanent fat loss without rebound.
