Apart from eating, these activities play an important role in helping to keep you metabolically active, so you'll burn more fat and lose more weight as a vegetarian with half the effort and time.

Sleep - When you sleep well, your metabolism will run optimally. How many hours of sleep you need depends on your body condition. You should know better than anyone else. Not necessary to stick to 8 hours per day.

Drink - Inadequate water consumption can cause more toxins to amass in your fat cells, making it difficult for your body to extract the fat from your fat stores for energy conversion. You need sufficient water supply to allow for proper detox and keep your metabolism active throughout the day.

Excrete - This is one of the most important vegetarian weight loss tips that you should preferably do 1 - 2 times daily. You'll improve your bowel movements automatically once you've eaten nutritiously with a fiber-packed diet, sleep well and attain good hydration.

Vegetarian Weight Loss Tips Part 3 - Exercise

You can't escape from the "calories-in, calories-out" basic even though you're a vegetarian. Meaning, if you want to expend more calories than you consume to achieve vegetarian weight loss, other than controlling your calorie intake via your vegetarian weight loss diet, exercise is the next power move you should take to lose weight effectively as a vegetarian.

Any exercise will do the trick. But to lose more fat in the shortest time possible, do interval training. For example, when you cycle, you'll first cycle at 10 mph (16 km/h) for one minute. On next minute, you'll speed up to achieve a 15 mph (24 km/h) and then drop back to 10 mph for another minute and so forth. You can perform interval training basically on any exercises. This type of low-high-low intensity workout pattern will help you burn more fat and boost your metabolism up to 24 hours even after your exercise bout.
