To make sure that it is neatly kept, protected from spillage and tearing, place them inside a clear plastic envelope so when you look for it, you can easily distinguish them from the other things inside your compartment. These papers are your car's insurance papers, car registration, owner's manual and a copy of your driver's license.

2. Have a pen and a small pad paper in your compartment too. This can help you note down important information that can be helpful when your phone or any other info gadget is not working.

3. A small flash light can be handy in road side troubles especially at night. This can help you see your car engine more clearly when determining which has caused the problem. It can also enable you to see clearly during the night when something had fallen on the car floor. Sometimes, the car light can be dim and could not other parts underneath the seats. A flash light also can be very helpful during outages in unexpected places.

4. A small medical kit is another important thing that should you should keep inside your car's compartment. It should contain the most basic medical assistance, as it is small. It should at least contain band aids, medical tapes, gauze, alcohol, baby wipes, tweezers, cotton buds and some cotton.

5. In order to keep a cleaner interior, it's always important to have some cloth for wiping. It saves you from coffee or soda spills and food stains.

6. If you're a woman, it is important to keep a stun gun or some pepper spray to arm you against car jackers or freak attacks. It's a helpful substitute to the real gun.

7. A brush can also come in handy when you've forgotten to brush in times of haste. It can save you from looking like a wreck when you need to attend an impromptu social event.

8. Keep a little bottle of your perfume. You just might just forget to put on some deodorant on your way to a very important meeting.

These are only a few examples of the most important things you can store in your car glove compartment. It can be practical to keep the most important things that you think you need the most which you sometimes forget at home. Consider car troubles or possible accident situations and think about what you'd need during those situations. But it is top priority to keep important papers of your car like its registration, car insurance policies and a photocopy of your driver's license.
