How To Find More Clients with Networking Integrity

Client attraction and networking integrity fit together like a hand in a glove. Keep networking in the forefront of your thinking so you and your business will reap the rewards.

Having a strong and vital network is not much different than having a strong and vital garden. Neither simply springs up overnight. You can't just plant seeds and then walk away. You've got to tend to a network the same as you would a garden if you expect it to grow, to flourish, and to produce for you.

Neglect your network and weeds will show up in the form of business for competitors. It's pretty basic, really: in order for your network of referral sources to produce results requires the same careful care and attention as any other living organism. Ignore your referral network and your business will it will wither and die on the vine.

Are you in your business for the long haul or the fast buck? Your business integrity means two things

• Doing what you say you will do…
• Never violating your own standard of behavior.

Every time you tell a client you will do something you had better do it and in a timely fashion. This is the foundation of building trust. Show them you can be trusted. If you say you will do something without thinking it all the way through or considering the many other things you have on your plate mean spell trouble. You may misjudge the time available or your ability to carry the job through.

If you realize soon after making a commitment you cannot get something done make sure you call your client and tell them about the delay. They may be disappointed but at least you won’t loose face altogether.

Keeping promises no matter how small is essential to preserving client attraction with integrity. Clients will trust by purchasing more services and making referrals when they see you are trustworthy. So how do you build integrity…

• Always always tell the truth. When all is said and done telling the truth keeps you in integrity with your client and yourself.

• Thank your clients often. Send a card (handwritten is best), or even a personal call to see if they have any questions that need handling.

• Show your appreciation. Instead of reserving all your special discounts and promotions for new clients, why not offer added service or special discounts for your existing clients.

• Deliver Superior Internal Client Service. As a small business or even solo owner we often have people we contract with to help get the job done. Maybe it’s a virtual assistant or other contractor. Remember you are their client because you have to deliver information to them so they can do their job more efficiency and more effectively. By being a superior customer for them the service they deliver to you and your customers will be extraordinary.

• Know your competition. The more you know your competition the more you can do to make sure you are always the better choice. .

You can attract more clients if you plan your work and work your plan. Fill your business by becoming irresistibility client attractive.
