The City of Birmingham in the UK is an exciting and up and coming place both to live and to work with excellent shopping and entertainment. It is also a good place to find work.
You just have to look online on the internet at the many Job Boards and Jobsites to find out what is available. Depending on what you're looking for, you may or may not find it on 1 of these websites. There are specialist Job sites available thst purely offer employment in Birmingham and the Midlands area.
If you are unsuccessful there You might have to look at something else. If you go to the Birmingham Goverment website, you will find helpful information if you are interested in becoming a teacher or work in guidance. You click on the one that you want and fill out the information. You can also try looking on Craigslist to see if their are any legitimate jobs available, but you have to be careful with places like Craigslists. There are alot of scams on that site.
There are many websites promoting Birmingham and its employers which will give you an indication as to the companies located in the city which may be of interest to you. You may already know what company you might be interested in, just google that company and check to see if they have any vacancies in the Midlands area. Sometimes you can type in keywords, such as nursing in Birmingham, UK and you will come up with a list of places that are recruiting for nurses. That is just an example. Another route to take is posting you CV online at one of the many social sites that are available which is becoming a popular way of getting yourself noticed.

You can be based anywhere, especially in the UK and if you qualify, you will be working making part-time wages. As for more work at home jobs, you can check out some of the forums that list different work at home jobs, such as writing and transcription. Some of the forums are Work at Home Moms and Work Place Like Home. You have to register for Work Place Like Home to navigate.
If you're unable to find jobs through the Internet for Birmingham, UK, then you may have no other choice than to go to the job centre in Birmingham. A lot jobs are not posted on the Internet but will be available there.
