1. Network Marketing- With this business model you build a downline of distributors and get paid on their efforts every month.

This is probably the most famous residual income program yet also the one with the highest failure rate. Very few people ever achieved a long-term residual income from network marketing in the past.

Today that is not the case thanks to the Internet. There are now people getting paid every month building a worldwide MLM business.

You can automate both the retail efforts of your business as well as the sponsoring and downline building. This makes it very possible to develop a residual income to the point that you can quit working altogether.

2. 2 Tier Affiliate Programs- Get paid on the sales of people you personally recruit.

Unlike network marketing where you can build a large downline, two-tier affiliate programs pay you only on the sales of people you personally recruit. This can still create a very large income for you if you are promoting the right types of products and recruiting the type of affiliate marketers who can sell.

3. Membership sites- Get paid every month that a person's membership in place.

For example you could sell a monthly membership to a private label rights program. As long as the person's membership stays in tact you earn a commission every month.

Another thing you can do is start your own membership site and earn money every month from the sales of memberships. There are more people doing this because of the various niches people are making money online with.

4. Email Marketing- We include this as a potential residual income program because of the large sum of money you can earn from your list.

There are people making seven-figure incomes mailing offers to their list every day. Often times this is all automated followed up by an autoresponder with preprogrammed messages.

You just let the system mail out the messages and people order from you when they are ready. This is a very hands off way of creating residual income that will pay you over and over.
