When recording film, it can be quite a challenge to get rid of all the shaking during motion. CS5 allows you to fine tune this process to make everything smoother and stable. The shape is tracked over time and it can be copy/pasted with ease. There is also more support for Adobe After Effects. There is more HD support, more LUTs, and XDCAM EX export functions. Along with that, there are many options in terms of bit rates, pixels, and frame rates. You can now get the effects you want and organize your work in the formats that you need it in. The overall speed of After Effects has been improved as well. The program can been optimized use your maximum potential of memory, making it run much smoother. Another bonus is that files are compressed better so you don't take up as much space onto your harddrive. While most of the time these small improvements don't mean much, there is a noticeable difference in performance in the new release.
