Party planners should compare UK venues before committing time and money for upcoming events. The multitude of museums, restaurants, and other venues in the UK presents plenty of space for events big and small. One of the biggest attractions for corporations, families, and groups of friends in London is the London Zoo. The zoo's location in Regent's Park gives it a great view of the juxtaposition of nature and urban development in London. The London Zoo has plenty of places to hold events including the 300-seat Prince Albert Suites, the 70-person Mappin Pavilion, and the Huxley Theatre. The 36-acre preserve in the heart of London has played host to holiday parties, weddings, and birthdays for years.

The search for a great venue in UK should continue with a creative space like the HMS Belfast. This World War II naval vessel has been maintained by the city of London and the Imperial War Museum for public use. Partygoers can enjoy England's nautical past by taking tours of the HMS Belfast before settling down in the ship's cozy banquet spaces. The Ship's Company Dining Hall is the most sizable banquet space with room for 100 seated or 210 standing guests. The Admiral's Quarters are ideal for small meetings and casual get-togethers with space for 35 standing quests at once. The HMS Belfast is located on the Thames between the London and Tower Bridges, creating a scenic view difficult to find at other venues.

The HMS Belfast may not be appropriate for a children's birthday party or casual reunion of friends. Namco is an entertainment centre located on the South Bank close to Westminster Bridge Road. This three-floor venue has 12 glow-in-the-dark bowling alleys to make bowling an electrifying experience. Guests at Namco can also stay entertained with the giant pool hall and walls of classic arcade games. Namco has space for almost 1,200 patrons along with buffet lines and catering to handle the largest of parties.

Arsenal Football Club has played its matches at Emirates Stadium in London since 2006. The team has held corporate events, parties, and concerts at the stadium during the long months between May and August when the Premier League season is finished. The stadium's Woolwich Suite can handle 550 to 600 seated guests or 2,000 standing guests for major events year round. Smaller parties can use the 90-seat Diamond Club, the 100-seat Legends Club, and the 450-seat Highbury Suite to get the best value for their pounds. Party planners will find it difficult to compare London venues to Emirates Stadium after hearing of its state-of-the-art amenities. Emirates Stadium has Wi-Fi, digital video screens, and high-definition equipment to facilitate business presentations.

Every party planner in the UK should compare London venues to locations in other cities to find interesting but overlooked venues. The Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire is a popular UK venue outside of London that provides luxurious accommodations for its guests. The course's Pavilion can handle 1,100 seated and standing guests for weddings, conferences, and other large events. The Ascot Racecourse has 250 guest boxes with 12 seats in each box for smaller gatherings that require intimate settings. Guests at the Ascot Racecourse have access to food, drinks, and fun at the course's Bessborough Restaurant.

Kensington is another place where party planners can compare venues for upcoming events. One of the hottest clubs in Kensington is Amika, situated on the fashionable Kensington High Street. Patrons of Amika can use the Chandelier Bar to hold wedding receptions and balls. The Chandelier Bar features buckets at each table for bubbly as well as a sizable dance floor. The Champagne Room is a bar located adjacent to the Chandelier Bar with the best champagne, vodka, and other spirits for any occasion. The Cocktail Bar is another popular option in Amika with blue ambient lighting at the bar along with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Amika can handle up to 500 patrons in its three bars, making this venue perfect for small to mid-sized events.

Party planners with their hearts set on a venue in Kensington should compare the Milestone Hotel located within minutes of Kensington Palace. The Milestone Hotel has multiple conference rooms to accommodate business groups and weddings throughout the year. The hotel's Windsor Suite is a cozy meeting area with 28 seats, while the Conservatory offers a great view of Kensington for 10 lucky guests. Every party at the Milestone Hotel has access to gourmet meals at Cheneston's Restaurant as well as relaxation at the hotel fitness centre and spa. The best intentions for an upcoming event can be derailed immediately without the right venue. Smart event planners will compare venues throughout the UK to find locations that are conducive to the event's aims. For example, a casual excursion with friends may be better served in a small venue like Namco rather than an oversized venue like Emirates Stadium. The search for the best venue possible for an event starts when planners compare UK venues based on price, size, and amenities.
