"The more credit you give away, the more will come back to you. The more you help others, the more they will want to help you." ~ Brian Tracy
Does life seem like a fun puzzle where you get to turn over many pieces so that you can see the whole picture? Do you remember solving jigsaw picture puzzles as a youngster? It was very important in the solving to have a picture of the whole puzzle, so that you could refer to it as you turned up the various pieces.
Life truly is like one of those giant jigsaw puzzles. And we've been given a wonderful gift in the solving of life's lessons. That gift is "others," believe it or not.
In our striving to become successful, we have all worked diligently to unfold self-sufficiency. We want to become all that we can become, and we think we have to do it ourselves. We forget that we've been given the gift of "others."
Others in our personal and business lives are the very thing we need to accelerate our own successes. This does not step on the toes of our being self-sufficient and becoming all we can become. It compliments our self-sufficiency, and in that complimenting, it also compliments the other who is helping us.
Every one of us has pockets of brilliance.
- Why not let the others in your life share their brilliance with whatever it is you happen to be working on currently?
- Why not ask them how they view what you are doing?
- What would their ideas do for your project?
- How could their brilliance make your own brilliance more brilliant?
I have adopted in my life the pattern Henry Ford so capably demonstrated: "If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person's point of view and see things from that person's angle as well as from your own." I have created my own team of experts, my "others," and they help me to implement my Big Dreams.
The Big Dreams for your life will be a puzzle you'll work on every day and dream about each night. If you, too, utilize the gift of others, those dreams will manifest more quickly and with greater success than you could possibly imagine. Tune in to the role others are playing in your life.
"When we truly realize that we are all alone is when we need others the most" ~ Ronald Anthony
