There should always be a personal touch to that; your personality should, at least, surface so you will not feel totally alien in your own skin. Make sure to interview a minimum of 3 image consultants and see who has great style suggestions and who you can connect with. Try to find out if they are willing to meet and talk with you first before you sign the contract.
After all, you should be comfortable and at ease with the the style consultant you hire and the whole experience should be both fun, worthy and fruitful.
