One of the worst breakdowns to go through is one that involves your washing machine. You may hesitate to get it fixed, think there are ways around it or maybe it will be better to just buy a brand new one. But especially if this is only the first time it has broken down, that isn't the case. Think about the alternatives. Using a laundromat may be OK for a week or two until you call up for your reliable appliance repair, but you may fall into the trap of using it much longer than you should because it becomes routine.
