The good thing about medical specific work wear is it is generally designed to take on a lot of stain removers and heavy duty washer and dryer settings. This is vitally important cause anyone who has ever strapped on a set of nursing uniforms scrubs knows things can get really messy when medically emergencies are your business. Even the inexpensive discount nursing scrubs one might find on a clearance rack are implicitly manufactured to take a licking in the wash. It is a valuable service that the scrubs manufacturers of the world have made an effort to build a product that truly addresses the needs of people working in the medical profession.

Of course just because brand name hospital scrubs are built to last does not mean they are resistant to the wide variety of staining that can occur within the confines of any facility offering medical care. And sometimes removing particularly troubling stains can require more than simply plopping your favorite discount nursing scrubs in the washing machine on extended spin. You might have to get in there with elbow grease and a number of alternative cleaning techniques.

Blood is of course the stain we might be most concerned about, particularly if you find yourself doing duty in the emergency room. Here the amount of opportunity to end up in the line of splatter is very good. The way to go with blood, as with any protein matter, is to use cold water. Hot water will begin to literally cook the blood into an article of clothing making the stain permanent. Pre-soak the item in cold water for up to 30 minutes this will start to make some progress in getting the stain out of the hospital scrubs. Then try using the washing machine with some color safe detergent and warm(not HOT) water. If the stain remains soak the garment again and repeat the whole process. Eventually you will get that stain out and those nursing scrubs will be good as new!

Of course the other good thing about hospital scrubs is that even the best brands tend to be relatively reasonable in the price department. Replacing a favorite pair is not necessarily going to break the bank. Still it is nice to know that these companies make durable well designed products that are built to last. There is a lot of areas of commerce that do not do so with nearly as much steadfastness and reliability.

A1 Scrubs offers hospital scrubs and scrub tops from many different brands.
