There are so many tourist attractions in Orlando that they really have to offer something exceptional if they want to stand out from the rest. Well, for starters, the Wonderworks attraction is housed in an upside-down structure. Inside the upside down building Wonderworks offers a combination of magic shows, hands on exhibits, an all you can eat pizza buffet and a top notch comedy dinner show.

So what exactly can you do at Wonderworld? You might try a game of lazer tag where you have to suit up and then face off against opponents in a huge maze. Following a game of a lazer tag you might want to tryout the games in the 10,000 square foot arcade area in the basement of WonderWorks where you can play a game of air hockey, ride the Harley Davidson motorcycles, race in the Daytona USA and shoot a few hoops.

On the first and second levels of WonderWorks you can find a variety of exhibits which are billed as experiments that went awry in a "Bermuda Triangle" laboratory. There you can pilot F14 and F18 fight jets and get immersed in the action on three wide screen monitors. Or you can try out your hand and eye coordination and try to land the space shuttle in another ride.

If you are looking for a memorable souvenir of the visit, get your picture taken in one of the historic space suits worn by the early astronauts.

Sports enthusiasts can try their hand at virtual sports, and stand in front of a blue screen for a soccer or basketball session. The game will take place in a three dimensional virtual world created by a computer.

If you want to know what it feels like to be in a 5.3 earthquake then try out the Earthquake Simulator. There the 1989 San Francisco earthquake is recreated in the laboratory.

One of the big favorites with many visitors is the Bed of Nails. This attraction allows you to feel the sensation of 3,500 sharp nails rise up from under you while lying on this bed of nails.

Another highlight of a trip to Wonderworks is the Wonder Coaster. This is a roller coaster that you actually design, using the computer. After you design it, you get a chance to ride in it and see what it feels like. You have to be at least 48 inches tall to ride on this one.

In the evening you can attend the The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show.

This show combines magic with comedy improvisation and plenty of audience participation. You don't just watch this show you become part of the action. The dinner is an all you can eat pizza buffet with pizza, salad and unlimited soda and beer. It is a family friendly show that was hailed as "best dinner show in Orlando" by the Orlando Weekly.

There is so much to see and do at Wonderworks, that you will probably want to visit again when you make another visit to Orlando. They are located at 9067 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819 and are open daily from 9:00 AM to Midnight.
