If you have aced that first new media sales jobs interview, you will need some tips on how to succeed in the second.

Chances are that you made a great first impression in the initial interview process which is why you have been called back to sell yourself a second time so you should feel full of confidence at the thought of meeting your potential employers again.

Try and think back to your first encounter and remember all the moments where you think you made a positive impact as this will help you focus on how to repeat you great performance.

Recollect any feedback you may have received from the interviewer or your recruitment agency and aim to act upon the suggestions and comments that they might have made.

If you feel that your first interview went really well, try to replicate as many aspects of that meeting as possible including your appearance, your timekeeping and general demeanour.

Although you would like another similar experience, you will need to prepare in a different manner to how you did for the first process as it is likely that you will be interviewed by another or additional people so that more employees get to know you.

A second process will give you the opportunity to reinforce your strengths to reappearing interviewees and demonstrate your abilities to new people who may be added to the panel.

You will be competing against a smaller field of candidates so ensure that you effectively promote your skills and relevant experience as this will give you the best possible chance.

Expect further analysis of your resume so try and express how your previous experience in other positions will help you be a successful employee for the new media sales job role in question.

Second interview questions are likely to take on a different focus as you may have been issued a project by the company or a challenge to think about since your first encounter with them.

If you have any concerns about what shape the interview might take, talk to your recruitment agency as they will be able to get in touch with the employer and discover more valuable information about the upcoming process.

The important thing is not to panic and remember that you are there for the reason that they liked you so much the first time that they are willing to give you another shot and prove yourself to the company once again.
