When you are in a committed relationship that comes to an end, you may ask yourself the if you could have done anything differently which may have been able to save your relationship. You may ask yourself if there were any warning signs along the way that you may have ignored.

In this article we will discuss some of the most common warning signs that will tell you when your partner is about to end the relationship.

You no longer communicate the way you did when the relationship started.

In the early stages of the relationship you had many conversations where you would discuss everything from the weather to your favorite TV show. When the relationship starts changing your partner will answer yes or no to your questions and they may no longer be interested in having a real conversation with you.

Your partner is being secretive.

When your partner no longer wants to tell you where they went after work before meeting up with you, or who they were speaking to on the phone. You should pay close attention to this.

Your partner starts picking fights with you.

If you are getting into more arguments than you have had in the past. If your partner is creating arguments over things that may not have been a problem for them in the past. Your partner may no longer be interested in the relationship but they do not want to be the one to end the relationship. In this case you should ask your partner they are content with the relationship.

Your friends start interrogating you about your relationship with your partner.

Your close friends may be able to sense that your relationship with your partner has changed. When your friends start asking you questions about your relationship and how you and your partner feel about each other. There is usually a good reason for your friends to ask these types of questions, therefore you should pay close attention to this.

Your partner is much more critical of you than they were in the past.

Your partner may say "those jeans do not look good on you." However, the jeans looked just fine when your partner helped you to choose those jeans at the mall a few weeks ago.

These are some of the most common warning signs that your partner may no longer be interested in you. If you notice any of these signs you should immediately have a conversation with your partner to decide whether or not the both of you are still interested in pursuing the relationship. Or whether it would be best to try to work things out.
