If you want to maintain a perfect balanced body with the perfect health you need to maintain a balance of all the important nutrients in your body. The slightest deficiency of any important nutrients like vitamins and minerals can lead to complex health problems. Molybdenum is an important mineral that is found in humans and animals. Lacking in any regard in Molybdenum can trigger serious health problems.

Molybdenum is present in the liver, kidneys, bones and adrenal glands. This is an important component of the different enzymes in your body which aide in the digestion of amino acids. We can easily fulfill our Molybdenum deficiency by eating foods like legumes, dark green leafy vegetables, meat, and certain cereals. Your body will absorb it easily when it is digested.

Uric acid is the end product of protein metabolism which ends up in our blood and urine. It is vital that our body maintains the balance of uric acid in our body. If the level of uric acid in our body exceeds the essential limit it stores up in different joints and surrounding areas, it can then result in Arthritis. Kidney stones are also the result of excessive uric acid in the bones.

Xanthine oxidase is the enzyme that helps to produce uric acid and Molybdenum is an essential part of this enzyme. Keeping adequate levels of Molybdenum in your body will help to maintain the level of uric acid which will prevent these health problems from arising.

Signs and Symptoms of Molybdenum Deficiency:

People who are deficient in Molybdenum may experience mental problems and increased urinary excretion of sulfite to name just a few. At times it can also lead to life threatening health related problems and premature death.

The milder symptoms are premature aging and impotency in men. In order to prevent this deficiency is to start taking multivitamins that have the necessary ingredients of a healthy life.

Benefits of Taking Molybdenum:

It protects your body from developing micro organisms that can trigger the above mentioned diseases. It also helps to prevent tooth decay and aids in alcohol detoxification. Plus it will also help your body digest carbohydrates and fats better than normal. Undigested food that accumulates in the body can trigger various health problems as well. Molybdenum will also greatly reduce the risk of certain cancers.

So it is best to take Molybdenum as a multivitamin supplement. It is recommended by doctors everywhere and can lead you down the road of health.
