This way is going to take longer before you start earning any money, but the long term benefits are worth the effort you put in without any rewards in the initial stages.

If you enjoy writing about your subject and are not too worried about earning huge amounts of money immediately, then over time as the content on your blog increases, the search engines will reward you by listing your blog in prominent places, which will bring more targeted traffic to you and ultimately more sales. Of course you will need to monetize your blog by advertising various products on it. There are many entrepreneurs today earning a full time living on the internet just by blogging.

This can only happen if you are aware of the reasons why you are doing this and what you want to achieve from it.

4. Some of the reasons why people want to make money online are as follows:

Your salary from your "day job" is not sufficient and you want to supplement what you are already earning. You would like some extra income for a new house or a motor car. There are children who need a college education.

Or a big one today with the global financial crisis, is that many people have lost their jobs and now need to earn an income with whatever means are possible in order to pay their bills.

If as a newbie you have done your homework and know exactly what you want to earn, you will then be able to decide which method you should follow so that you can reach your goals. It is possible to make money online and there will be less room for error if you know what you need to do to get there.
