Extreme House Selling a brilliant concept for the brave the type of who dares win individual with a thick skin and a willingness for a challenge. It is most definately for the confident extrovert and definitely not for the shy retiring individual uncomfortable in the limelight. So what is this new concept that excites me so much and does it work?

Extreme House Selling was borne out of desperation of the financial melt down that result in a declining housing market. Individuals who were not prepared to lie down and accept that there houses were not going to sell got to work. This work ranged from creating local campaigns for there homes to adding extraordinary incentives to attract the elusive buyers. This action by home sellers is what I would describe as an exciting and growing trend the strategy of Extreme House Selling.

Recently one of my client's international best selling author Jonathan Blain highlighted the concept by enticing buyers to his luxury cottage in Devon. The property which at its height had a price tag of £3 million pounds is now priced at £1,350,000 and being offered with a speed boat and luxury car. Jonathan Blains Extreme house selling methods have seen his home in receive international coverage in the media and online.

I see Extreme House Selling as anything that is moral and legal that will give a property more exposure than the average home. So parading yourself naked outside your home to attract the local media may not be such a good idea. Typically the private home seller will offer incentives and a dramatic reduction in price. Some may create publicity about their homes at a local or national level.

It is not for everybody and this is the advantage as a seller can then stand out from the crowd. My experience has found that home sellers experience stress from being passive, applying proactive tactics can actually help this stress. Pricing is still one of the most important factors and you must make sure you are beating the competition with your proposal

The down side of becoming an Extreme House Seller is that attracting attention to your home also means attracting negative comments. Everyone will have an opinion and if your a success you will no doubt attract people who will not like you or your home. Thick skin is required and it's not a concept for wimps!

Ideas for extreme house selling are generated by the individual the level of activity is down to them. Many people and the media ask for examples of Extreme House Selling you will find them in your local paper or radio and TV show. Remember if you can do what everyone else is doing but at a better standard you are on your way to being an Extreme House Seller. Unlike other methods that people may suggest to you there are no guarantees but I can guarantee being proactive rather than reactive will work wonders on your well being.
