Don't throw your hard earned money away by making mistakes that could be avoided. By avoiding these outsourcing mistakes you will be able to achieve your goals without so much hassle. Outsourcing has different sides. Knowing the potential problems will give you a greater experience with it.

Noted here are 5 outsourcing potential mistakes to avoid.

1.Not Knowing the Person you are Dealing With

It is a must to interview and know the potential people you will be working with. While the best perk of having someone working for you is that these people work independently, the common problem is not carefully checking out who will be doing the work. Things might not turn out right and you have no one to blame.

2. Communication Line Closed

Always keep the communication lines open. Do not let your workers do the work for you without making clear what are your objectives and what do you really need. Your assistants cannot read your mind, and they do need your guidance. You and your outsource people must understand what you expect them to do. This way, you get what you expect to be done.

3. Not Making Proper Appropriation

For the outsourcing to work well, keep a record on how much you spend for the tasks done. There are projects that need single payments, while others might require recurring or retainer payments. Still, there maybe assistants who want to get paid per hour, and some want it by project. Whatever payment scheme they need, make sure you have enough for certain jobs that need to be done.

4. Not Using You Assistant's Full Potentials

Make sure to use your assistant to their fullest potentials. Ask potential people if they have time for several jobs. There are freelancers who can complete bigger bulk of projects at a lower rate.

5. Not Understanding Your Role

Since you are the one who is doing the outsourcing you must understand your role. For the relationship between you and your assistant to flourish, you must keep the communication lines open and clear. Be specific in your expectations from your help. You are not their sole client and much as you wanted to keep them all at your disposal, it might not be the case. Respect their schedule and say something on the tasks done. This will encourage them and will make them respect your as well.

As you start your journey into outsourcing, be aware of potential problems, handle them well and make your business grow as you want it to be.
