Autumn is not the high season for weddings, but still some couples decide to get married in this season.
Autumn is also a very colorful season, which can be used for your unique wedding theme. Having a wedding in autumn is also an advantage, because many cheap wedding arrangements can be made.
Let get your inspiration for your big day from the colorful trees and leaves in autumn. Make your wedding day unforgettable and have a look at these great ideas:
Choose the Color
At first you should decide which colors you want to work with. This will set the theme for the color of the invitation cards, dresses, flowers and decorations. Very common colors for this season are red, gold, yellow or brown.
For a more modern look deep browns with light blue accents is a wise decision. For a classic look I recommend black and white with touches of red. Most important is that you like the colors and the look suits you when choosing your wedding dress.
Invitation Cards
There are plenty of autumn themed wedding invitations cards available. Many of them are adorned with leaves, trees and other symbols of this wonderful season.
A better option is to design your wedding invitation yourself. It is good that we are living in computer age and have this option. The benefits to producing your own invitation cards are that they are cheaper and you can add your personal note.
Themed Dresses
At this time of the year a very popular color choice for a traditional white wedding dress is with deep chocolate brown and gold trim. Another option is a cream or off-white wedding dress that will match up with all skin tones.
For the groom a good choice for this season is wearing a suit made of rich fabrics with following autumn colors: chocolate brown, beige or tan. When a beautiful tie is matches the color of the bridges bouquet, which gives the outfit of the groom a luxurious touch.
Location
You will find many locations, which fits your expectation for a perfect wedding celebration.
A popular option is to hold your wedding celebration in a Church. Very often you will find a room beside the church for hire, where you can have your wedding party after the ceremony.
There are many other options for a wedding ceremony. Look around your area for historical places or an inviting old pub or restaurant.
To celebrate an outdoor wedding could be difficult, because of the weather conditions in autumn.
Decoration
Colorful dried leaves can serve as a backdrop for the wedding ceremony. For the table decoration you could choose light brown candles with colorful dried leaves presented on a mirror for example.
Another option is to display seasonal fruit baskets, full of nuts, apples and pears on the tables. This is a beautiful decoration and also a fantastic idea for your guests, eating something in between.
Your flower arrangement should also match your colors you have chosen. Many blooming flowers are available at this season; you have only to pick up your color.
If you consider all tips, autumn is a colorful season to get married. When planning your wedding in autumn, hopefully these ideas will help, to make your wedding unique and unforgettable for you and all your guests.
