Have you ever wondered if it's really as easy to make money online working at home as it sounds? In this article we want to give you the truth about online work at home, and the obstacles you will face becoming successful doing it.

1. The bottom line truth is making money on the Internet is not as easy as it sounds. There are many obstacles you will have to overcome including learning how to do Internet marketing properly. Since none of us are born Internet marketers we all have to learn the skills that are necessary to be successful.

Skills I am talking about include how to build a website, how to set up a blog, how to drive meaningful traffic on a consistent basis, how to convert some of that traffic into purchasing customers, how to follow up for future sales, and much more.

The good news here is the things we are talking about doing are all within the reach of anybody with average intelligence. This is not rocket science, but acquired skills you must learn.

2. One good thing that the Internet does make available is known as outsourcing. All of the things that we just listed in item number one can be outsourced to qualified people.

By this we mean you pay them to do things you do not know how to do, or do not want to do. There are people who come on the Internet with more money than they have time and outsourcing is ideal for them.

There are also people who would prefer to reinvest some of their Internet profits in outsourcing so they can spend more time doing things they enjoy. One example of this would be article marketing where you write and submit articles. If you enjoy writing you would concentrate on this form of marketing and pay people to do other things for you.

3. One thing that I do think is hard for many people when they first start is using a computer. You cannot do online work at home without the use of a computer.

It might be advantageous to you that take a beginner's computer class to learn some of the basics. Things that you will do almost every day includes sending email, copying and pasting, working with Word documents, and so on. If you do not know how to do these things then your online work at home will be more difficult for you.
