Professional article writing services can make a massive difference to your article marketing campaigns by providing you with a professional template on which to base your own future articles. There are no doubts that article marketing is the number one advertising medium on today's internet, and let's discuss why.

Consider the alternatives: PPC (pay per click), paid adverts on ezines and paid exposure of your website on web directories. Forget the free services, because they are so inundated with average to poor sites that they are meaningless to most people - when is the last time you ever visited such a directory? Probably never! Each of these methods of advertising costs a lot of money for a single advert. Now consider article marketing and the use of professional article writing services.

Article marketing, and the submission of your articles to article directories, gets you online exposure in three ways:

1. When you submit your article to an article directory you article is placed on its own webpage. That webpage can be listed on Google and all the other search engines in exactly the same way as any other website page. In fact, your article can be listed many times on the same page on Google because it is contained in many different directories. For some reason, Google does not apply the duplicate content penalty so vigorously to articles published in directories as it does to normal website content. On the contrary, it regards published articles as being excellent web page content.

You can therefore get your article published on Page #1 on Google, as many are, if it is written professionally with good on-page SEO.

2. Contrary what many write online, articles get read by directory users. Many people use article directories to find out information on their niche, and it is not unusual to get a few thousand online reads directly from the directories for each article you write.

3. Many people copy your article and put it on their own website as content. When they do so they must include your resource box, providing a link to a page on your website. Some cheats neglect to include the resource, but studies show that the vast majority do. I always pursue those that do not.

However, in order to get this degree of online exposure, which equates to free advertising, you must have your article written professionally. Many try to write their own, and some are successful, but most are not. Professional article writing services can change all that, and bring success to your online business.

That is because a professional article ghost writer will have a good understanding of Google's keyword density requirements, and also of the way their so-called 'Latent Semantic Indexing' (LSI) algorithm is used to calculate the relevance of the content of a web page to the search term, or keyword, used by someone using Google to find information.

The way an article is written, the way that the keyword is used and the supplementary semantics used, are all relevant to the listing of your article on Google's search engine results. Google is by far the most important search engine on the planet, and while a good article can also be published on Yahoo, MSN and Ask, if it is not on Google, it might as well not have been written.

So what are we talking about in terms of cash? Forget writing auction sites where you can get an article written for $2 - it will be worth exactly that. Any decent writers will have their own website, and not have to rely on the humility of bidding for your work. It is you who should be bidding for the work of good writers, considering the benefits that a professionally written article can bring you, and I haven't even mentioned back-links and Google PageRank yet! Nor shall I, because that is another topic.

An average price for a well written article of around 800 words, with proper SEO and using good contextual semantics (what Google call LSI) is around $15 - some will try to charge you more, and many more will charge you less, but you get what you pay for. Never choose a cheap price by settling for an article that you could write yourself. That is pointless.

Many articles on some popular article sites are under 400 words, and hardly worth reading. They are pure adverts and provide no information on the topic. A professionally written article, on the other hand, will be of a length that all directories will accept (some have a 500 word minimum), and will offer useful information to the reader, who will then be likely to click to the URL you provide in your resource for more information.

Around 800 words is a good length to provide information to the reader rather than just acting as an advert for the writer, as too many articles are. If you give the reader good information, they will more liable to click through to your website for more. It works for me, so there is no reason why it should not work for you.

A good article ghost writer will also write your resource in such a way as to compel the reader to click, but after that it is up to you. However, if you are lucky enough to get a real professional article writer, he or she will also help you choose, or sometimes even design, a web page that is more of a squeeze page that collects names and email addresses in addition to giving the visitors the information they are looking for.

Take that $15 and then find out what it will cost you to have your article published on ezines and other private web pages. Take that $15 against the benefits it will give you. YOu can get at least 2000 reads for every article, and around 20% of readers on average should click through to your website. if your article and resource are well written.

That is 400 visitors and at even a 1% conversion rate to buying a product, that is a profit of 1200% on a $45 product.. It's a no brainer!

So, if you have products to sell, or services to provide, use the free advertising that article marketing can provide you with, and the inexpensive article writing services that enable you to make most use of that. Who knows - you might even get some good SEO and web page design advice free of charge as part of your $15. Now how much would an SEO company charge you for that . .
