Could it be ...

A nagging spouse? An ancient proverb says that a nagging spouse is like a dripping tap ... drip ... drip ... drip ...nag... nag ...nag.. You can't turn it off. If you try, it gets worse and turns into bigger drips, bigger nags and there's no escape! If only it was as simple as just changing the washer. In this case a plumber won't help but some therapy might!

Could it be ...

Your partner snoring? Imagine this scene. You're tossing about in bed at night desperately trying to sleep and all you hear is drip ... drip ... drip! And you look over at your partner and there they lie, sound asleep, maybe even happily snoring without a care in the world. I'm not sure which is better to be kept awake by a snoring partner or a dripping tap. At least you can elbow your 'snoring one' to stop the cacophony. But a dripping tap? No good phoning a plumber in the middle of the night. He'll probably yell at you to take a sleeping pill and slam the phone down. At least his wife isn't being kept awake by a dripping tap. Unless, if of course he nags like a dripping tap!

Imagine this ...

You're fast asleep in dreamland and suddenly you wake up, sit straight up, startled. You listen ... and there's not a sound to be heard. They say silence is golden but this time you were woken up by this unusual silence. You look at your partner sleeping peacefully and with no snoring. Oh yes, you remember you bought him/her (don't want to be sexist here) an anti-snoring pillow. And the dripping noise is gone, the tap washers were changed.

Imagine this ...

No more dripping taps ever, ever again! How's that possible you might ask. There's a very simple answer to this question. Replace your taps with quality taps that are so well made that they will never leak, splutter, splash or drip, ever again.

Imagine this ...

You're online, or at the shop buying new taps. What do you need to look out for?

Ceramic/alloy cartridge washers These are specifically manufactured to prevent dripping. They are covered with teflon which makes for a very smooth operation. Levers instead of handles also make it so much easier. Stiff hands or fingers are no longer an excuse for leaving a tap dripping. Gone are the days of replacing those old-fashioned rubber washers.

The finish Who really wants to spend ages polishing taps to keep them looking as good as new. Don't you agree? Well, some companies have developed new technologies that produce beautiful shiny sufaces that look just like a mirror. The good news is that these finishes repel dirt and are also scratch and rust resistant. No more polishing, while your taps stay looking as good as new for a very long time.

Problem Solved ...

Your partner has an anti-snore pillow and the taps no longer drip. Sleep tight!
