So you have decided to write a report, article, or e-book about your favourite topic. That's great, so get your written word out there and connect with the market.

Yes, of course there's already a load out there saying something similar, but just because they are out there, it doesn't make them all good, or all original. But many thousands of people are buying information products all the time.

There are generally four types of people who read these articles and e-books.

1. The first type really can't be bothered, and will no doubt be sending me an email saying there's too much to read, and they don't have time for it. Or maybe they'll say they've read it all before and none of it works anyway.

This type of person knows everything, or think they do, and they will go away having gained absolutely nothing. Once again they will start their search for the 'quick and easy' answer to 'getting rich overnight' and buying into the next newest and latest info product.

2. The second type are those people who will read the reports or e-books right through, and they get excited about how much money they are going to make with all their newfound knowledge. Then they disappear when the course is finished. These people never actually put anything into practice. They then wonder why it is they haven't got anywhere.

They'll say the article or e-book is no good. They'll not admit they are doing something wrong. Then they'll go off down the same route as the first group, looking for the latest and greatest info product that will make them rich overnight.

3. The third group of people are those who will succeed, given time. I'm always so pleased to help them in any way possible. They are willing to read, learn, listen and pick up information that will be useful to their business.

These people will go away, follow the instructions, take into account any tips and tactics given to them, and go out and set up their business. These are the people who will feel good about their business. They'll hopefully make a whole load of cash, and a whole load of useful contacts along the way.

But will they still want to buy more info products? YES! That's for sure! When they find a new tactic that sounds really juicy they'll jump on it. They know they need to get in early and be ahead of the crowd. These people have that extra push - that extra edge over the other crowd of marketers.

4. The fourth and final group are those people that are already successful. Those who feel that although they don't actually need to gather more information, but because they want to be inspired and juiced up a little. This is something I do too!

Yes, we all need to be inspired and to see other peoples' points of view and learn to be even more successful. It's also a great opportunity to spot ideas that may not have occurred to us before. None of us knows it all!

If the time ever comes when I feel I know it all, I reckon it will be time to hang up my boots!
