The Motorola Hint is a stylish phone that has a 2.5 inch widescreen LCD display. Hidden behind this large display is a full QWERTY keyboard that makes messaging a fun activity. This new design allows you to access your most frequently used applications at your finger tips and allows you keep in touch with your network of friends and colleagues in a variety of ways.

On first glance, the phone may appear to be a little thick but that is because of the new sliding keyboard design. It can easily slip into your pocket and weighs only 120 gms.

When the slider is closed the phone's integrated mp3 player features one-touch music keys that provide playback functions. The player supports a number of audio and video formats some of them are, MIDI, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced, WMA v9 for audio and H.263, MPEG4, WMV v9 for video. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Motorola Hint has a 2 megapixel camera that supports video recording. The recording can be as long as the memory allows. The phone has a 128 MB RAM and a 256 MB built in memory; this allows a great amount of storage flexibility. What's even better is that the memory can be extended to a whopping 8 GB by using the removable memory slot.

The phone has a number of internet-friendly functions such as full feature HTML browser, E-mail and instant messaging functions. In addition, it supports Bluetooth, high-speed USB connectivity, PC syncing and high speed internet. The high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity can be used to transfer music from a PC to the phone. GPS support is enabled on the Motorola Hint, so if your carrier supports this you can easily track your location on a map. Other features on the phone include a personal organizer, a speakerphone and stereo Bluetooth. To have a more PC like feel it allows you to scroll, zoom in and out, use bookmarks and see history to enhance your web browsing experience.

Apart from these the Hint has a threaded text messaging and instant messaging feature that makes SMS look like an ancient thing. This allows the user to have a more conversation-like experience. The advanced message manager uses an intuitive dashboard interface to keep track of all the conversations.

The battery life on this phone is extremely impressive. It has a 940 mAH battery that stays up for 15 days in standby mode and 4.5 hours in talk time mode.
