When choosing your wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses also consider what jewelry will complement or enhance your gown and the bridesmaids dresses. Simple pearls or solitaire diamond stud earrings worn with a simple chain necklace with a matching pendant are a classic, timeless look. A sparkling tiara, necklace and chandelier earrings may also be the look you desire. Do classic, traditional and fashionable pieces of jewelry need to be expensive?

There are some excellent pieces out there that are affordable and ways to get almost the real thing. For example, instead of paying high costs for diamonds, you can substitute cubic zirconium instead. These synthetic gems have diamond-like clarity, cut and brilliance at a fraction of the price. Gold and silver plated metals will also look beautiful in your wedding pictures. You can also find affordable wedding day jewelry at discount stores. Look for special sale events and also consider wholesale jewelry stores.

Don't forget your maid of honor, your bridesmaids, your little flower girl. Keep the classic, traditional look going and have your bridal party dressed in beautiful diamonds or pearls. Look for designs and styles that fit within the look of the bride's wedding gown or give them something completely different. Depending on the neckline of your bridesmaids dresses the new longer dangle earrings look beautiful with long or upswept hair dos.

While it is important that the jewelry help pull the bridal party look together, it is not necessary for everyone to wear the same pieces of jewelry. Instead, your maid of honor's dress may require more elaborate jewelry while the flower girl's look should be much more subtle and suitable for a child. You may want to use subtle colored jewelry to match their dresses or the flowers in their bouquets. If your bridesmaids are wearing pearls intertwined with crystals, you may want to purchase a simple pastel colored crystal necklace or bracelet for your flower girl to match the flower petals in her basket.

Also consider bridal hair jewelry. You may want to wear a tiara or other hair jewelry after you take off your bridal veil or change your hairstyle before the wedding reception. One of the best ways to add some glamour is to wear a tiara or a few hair barrettes, pins or combs adorned with rhinestones, crystals and pearls in your hair. This will add a little sparkle and keep your bridesmaids and flower girl looking sweet and angelic.

Remember to consider their ages! Select jewelry that will enhance and complement their youth and innocent beauty. Make your bridesmaids and flower girl feel special by giving them wedding day jewelry, tiaras or hair pins in a beautiful jewelry box or gift box. They'll cherish it forever and be able to wear it to the prom, a quinceanera celebration or any black tie formalwear event!
