If you want to make a difference, donate money in Thailand. Your dollars will go a long way there. You can improve the people's lives in many different ways. Because Thailand is so desperately in need of charitable relief, there are many relief organizations. You can pick one. Whatever area of life you want to focus on, you can help. Schools accept donations. So do hospitals. You can even help out animal shelters. So many people need your help. Whatever way you decide to help, just do it. You will make a tremendous difference to the poor people of Thailand.

Many people in Thailand do not have enough to eat. When the tsunami struck Thailand, much farmland was destroyed. Many people were farmers. Now, they have to land to plant. Other people relied on husbands and fathers for food. Their caregivers have perished. Now, they face malnutrition and starvation. Too sick to work, they lack the money to buy food. You can help them. Donate money in Thailand to an organization that sends rice and other staples to the villages. You can feed the hungry with just a small donation. If you are fortunate enough to have never been truly hungry, show your gratitude. Starvation in the modern age is a stain on humanity. Help wipe out hunger once and for all. No child should go to bed without something in her stomach. Hunger kills hope. When you donate money in Thailand, you restore hope. Restore hope and life with a small gift today.

You can also greatly help the people of Thailand by funding a medical facility. Many people do not have access to doctors. When they are sick, there is nowhere to turn. They are alone with their poverty. They are alone with their illness. Show the people of Thailand that they are not alone. Fund a medical center. Just a small donation can go a long way to buying medicine and supplies. Outfitting a center with basic necessities is costly. You can help make it possible. That way, when an individual gets sick, he or she will not suffer. Instead, treatment will be provided. With food and basic medical care, a person's life can have security. It can have happiness. Without food and proper medical care, there is only despair. You can donate money in Thailand. You can prevent despair.

Another great way to prevent illness is to ensure clean water is available. Along with food, clean water is very important for health. A person cannot live a healthy life if the water is filled with toxins and disease. If a village does not have access to a medical center, clean water is crucial. Otherwise, there is very little hope for health. Water purifiers are fairly inexpensive. If you want to donate money in Thailand and have it matter, here is how. Help buy a water treatment device for a village. Without any other change, those people's lives will get significantly better. Their health will improve. Providing access to clean water is just one more way you can help.

  • Experience Transformation During An All Night Spiritual Celebration (Karuna DiLibero)
Each year, there is a celebration in honor of Lord Shiva at the Hanuman temple in Taos, New Mexico that I attend as a way to transform my life. This 12-hour ritual cleanses my soul and I feel transformed, fresh and pure, ready to start a new segment in my life. Maha Shivaratri, the "Night of Shiva" is a powerful experience and gives me a taste of the India that I miss living here in the US.

  • How To Use African Religions To Be Emotionally Healthy (Yamaya Cruz)
Our ancestors understood the power of emotions. They understood that emotions were ten times more powerful than thoughts. They didn't accept things at face value and just treat the symptoms of the problems; they worked to treat the cause.

  • Getting Back To Our Nature (Yamaya Cruz)
People are not allowed to freely express themselves. Instead, they are being reared like a pet. They are rewarded for good behavior and scorned for bad. People can't embody the natural element of fire, because anger and jealousy is bad. People can't show sadness, the element of water, because sadness is a sign of vulnerability. People can't be too loving and giving, the element of earth, because it is a sign of weakness.
