3) Keep the anal area clean. Make sure you use towelettes or baby wipes to clean the area. Wiping too hard while cleaning in the shower or after a bowel movement can irritate the anus and cause a hemorrhoid. Stay away from harsh soaps can be one of the best hemorrhoids remedies.

4) Drink lots of water. Drinking more fluids keeps the stool soft so they don't irritate the lower rectum and anus. Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day in addition to eating more fiber. This will prevent constipation and allow you to produce softer stools that'll reduce irritation to the lower rectum.

5) Get more exercise. Walking at least once a day reduces strain on the bowels and increases the chance of producing stools that are softer and easier to pass. Make sure you find at least 20 minutes a day to go for a walk. Also, make sure you get up out of your chair several times a day or shift your seating position if you're sitting down a lot. This will reduce pressure on the anal region which could cause a hemorrhoid to flare up.

6) Always exhale when straining or lifting. This can cause blood vessels in the lower rectum and anus to enlarge and create a hemorrhoid. Severe coughing can also lead to hemorrhoids if not treated promptly.

Even though many people go through the above hemorrhoids remedies, they still suffer from hemorrhoids. Surgery is the ultimate result; however, it is possible to lessen the symptoms of hemorrhoids so you'll feel less discomfort and minimize flare-ups so you can live life as usual.
