Game is synonymous with escalation.

If you're not escalating, you're not doing anything. Maybe you're making a new friend. Who won't call you back if you call her.

Some friend.

Usually in pickup, it's all or nothing. You can stand there and make small talk, and waste your time.

Or you can go for it, and take things to the next level.

So what does escalation require?

Well first, let's look at how a woman experiences escalation. What's it like for her, when a man escalates with her.

In her eyes:

"That guy is looking at me. He's coming over.

He is standing up straight, and seems relaxed and in a good mood.

He looks in my eyes and smiles. He tells me I look great in my outfit. It's not super-original, but he seems sincere and has a positive energy.

We begin talking, and he occasionally touches me, to emphasize what he's saying, and sometimes just to be playful.

Normally I don't let guys touch me so much at first, but we are having a great conversation and I feel comfortable with him.

As long as he doesn't get too aggressive, I'm going to see where this goes."

OK, let's go over this.

The KEY here is in the second to last statement.

Can you find it?

What is necessary in order to escalate with a woman?

Can you just walk up to her and start groping her body?

Typically, no.

Humans are different from other animals. The male dog jumps the female, and bites into her neck so she can't get away.

And that's the extent of the courtship.

Most animals are the same. There's a brief exchange of pheromone release, and then it's all physical escalation straight to mate.

Humans do one thing differently.

We talk.

We talk to exchange vital information. Women NEED to have a conversation before they sleep with a man.

Men do not. Usually, we would be OK going straight to hook up.

But women need to get information about the man before she sleeps with him, so to her, conversation is integral - in fact, it IS escalation from her perspective, because she escalates emotionally.

Her emotions are becoming more intimate, as she gets to know the man, and reveals inner-self, her personality.

But to a man, the physical aspect is the real escalation.

This is why good conversation is crucial to pickup. It ALLOWS you to physically escalate.

If a woman feels she is escalating emotionally, she will let you escalate physically.

I laugh when I hear some of the things guys say to women. It's usually pretty ridiculous.

The sad part is, all they have to do is develop basic convo skills, so the woman can feel comfortable.

You will understand what to do, and why. You will see conversation like you never did before, and all your interactions with women will improve ten-fold, if not more.

Even if you're not a super-social, talkative guy, you still need conversational competence, so that you can escalate.
