Virtually everything is being sold on the Internet today. This presents an opportunity for you to create a home based big-money business selling big ticket items. In this article we will talk about what big ticket items are and how you can use that to create big money for your own home business.

Understand that there are people earning six and seven figure income selling products that average $20 a sale. However to do this you have to make a lot more sales than you would if you were to sell a product that you earn $1000 per sale on.

In reality it's just as easy to sell a big-ticket item as it is to sell a smaller priced one. The difference generally is in your own experience level and how you choose to market your product.

Because people need exposure to a product at different levels following up to make sales is one of the keys to making money online. It has been said that a person might need between 5-12 exposures to a product before they actually make a purchase. They surely will be more cautious if they're purchasing big ticket items and will probably shop around more as well.

Creating big money for your home based business selling these types of products means setting up pre-sell and review pages where you warm up your visitor. You can also use these as a landing page to capture their contact information for future follow up.

Getting a name and -mail address is important if you expect to follow-up with someone and give them those additional exposures to your product. Plus this is another way to pre-sell your prospect by dripping information on them over a period of time.
If you send them directly to a sales page asking them to buy they may leave and you will never hear from them again. This is a waste of your advertising dollars as well as costing you thousands of dollars in commissions.

Therefore you need a quality autoresponder with prewritten messages promoting the features, advantages, and benefits of the big ticket item you are selling. Some big-ticket products may already come with prewritten messages you can plug directly into your autoresponder. This is as simple as customizing them with your own name and website address and they are ready to go.

I've presented a simple strategy for you to sell big ticket items for any home based big money business. You can earn a six and seven figure income selling high ticket items once you get a system in place to do it.
