In business, a lot of stress comes from worry. Will THIS get done? Will THAT get done? What if I don't know? What if I don't have enough time? The list goes on and on. But one question that is rarely asked is: do I really have to worry about this or that?

If you ask yourself that ONE question, you'll find out that 99% of all worry in your business life is avoidable. To make this even easier for you, here's a simple mantra that makes worry and stress disappear:

This problem can be (blank)... BUT it isn't right now... SO I won't worry about it.

Example:

This problem can be devastating to my business because all my customers will leave and I won't be able to make any money and I'll be left in the cold to starve and die alone and miserable. (Exaggerated, I know.)

BUT it isn't devastating right now...

SO I won't worry about it.

You see, you don't have to worry about a "near problem'. You only have to worry about a 'real problem'. And most problems never make it to the 'real' status.

Now, I'm NOT saying you should stick your head in the sand and hope the problem will go away. That won't work. What I am suggesting, though, is that you shouldn't worry about any problem unless it becomes a 'real' problem.

And most 'near problems' never become 'real problems'. Instead they fester...then eventually fizzle out and fade away. In other words, a 'real problem' never exists. The 'problem' is in our head.

And what if the 'near problem' becomes a 'real problem'? Then we take action. Should you ever worry at this point? Actually, you shouldn't. The reason is simple:

If you have a 'real problem', worry won't help you solve the problem. It will only add stress, and fuel to the fire. Instead, if you take action on the 'real problem,' everything will be all right.

Let me give you an example:

Let's say you hired a publicist. He worked for you for 12 months with ZERO results, while you paid him a couple thousand dollars. Now, you may consider this a problem. Again, it's not.

Why? You've already spent the cash...you're not getting it back. You've already invested the time...you're not getting it back. What else is there to 'worry' about? Nothing. The only thing left is the solution - find a new publicist.

You see, worry comes from thinking about the problem and not the solution. But if you ask yourself the question (I gave you earlier) - do I really have to worry about this or that - you'll discover the answer is no because the solution is right in front of you.

And this happens 99% of the time. So, there is no need to worry 99% of the time. Whew! Doesn't that feel better?

It's time to eliminate the stress in your business life. When you do, you'll feel better, be able to make clearer decisions, and become more profitable because of it. Enjoy more money and less stress!
