If the download takes long, you might have to keep your computer on for quite a while.
Another method that you can use is to use an application that allows you to grab online videos. But since the video quality is poor, this method is not really recommended. Furthermore, the video file you would be able to get is usually FLV, and your media player might not be able to play it.
A great method that you can use, which is for free, is to use a Bit Torrent Client. A Bit Torrent Client allows you to download movie files through a peer-to-peer application. With this application, the speed of the download can be faster if there are other users downloading or seeding the same file.
After downloading the movie, you can watch it anytime on your computer. Some LCD TVs have a USB port that can read movie files, which you can take advantage of by watching the movie on your TV. Other DVD and Blu Ray players also have USB ports that can play video files. You can also use Converter Software to convert the movie so that it can be played on a mobile device such as the iPod.
