Gluten Free Restaurants In Appleton Brings You An Avocado And Mango Love Story
It was a day just like any other. I was just hanging out with the guys. You know, Cilantro, Onion, Jalapeno, Pepitas, and of course Cotija, our main cheese. We were going about our day like we did every day. Nothing new to talk about and nothing we hadn't already done before. It wasn't an exciting life, but we did alright.
We stayed out of trouble for the most part and stayed out of the way of the other "more important" denizens of the kitchen that we inhabited.
You see, everyone was ordering that new thing that came out of nowhere. It was something called fusion cuisine that everyone was raving about. It wasn't a big deal at first...we all could use a few days off because before the fusion cuisine came along, we worked pretty hard. After a while, though, we got a bit bored and it wasn't long before we all got a bit soft. We started to feel like we were being forgotten about. When that happens to someone, their mood and outlook on life can radically change. I mean, we didn't all of the sudden decide to do it. In fact, it wasn't really a decision at all. It sort of just happened. We started going bad.
All the other food started to avoid us as we sat in our little corner of the kitchen. I was starting to think that maybe my crew and I should just leave. It really was up to me, as I was the Avocado of our group and that meant that I made the big decisions. I was about to make the call when someone dropped by for a visit. Her name was Mango. She was a sweet girl dressed in that vibrant orange peel of hers. I wasn't sure why she was here, but I knew deep down in my pit that she could change everything. We chatted about recent events in the kitchen as my crew let me do the talking. I think they thought that we all smelled and kept their distance. They were probably right, but I was who I was and owned it. My life had led me here and there wasn't any reason to not be myself. I think that Mango was attracted to that trait. It wasn't long before we were a thing, an item if you will. I would even go so far as saying that we were a menu item. Look, I'm a modest kind of guy, but as soon as Mango unpeeled, I knew we would be together forever.
Now we are one of the most popular dishes and not a single night passes without us being served up. Mango, the rest of the crew, and I are now a part of the fusion cuisine revolution and we couldn't be happier. There is nary a chance of us going bad ever again. It's good to feel wanted once again and to be with the one I love.
